    “Love in the Light”

To My Inner Critic

poster designed by Gracie King

I am an emotional introvert;

the rhythm of life almost swallowed me whole.

I am holding what I love in the light,

forgiving myself for all matters I have left unattended.

I am taking deep breaths and using my spiritual tools,

giving thanks, praises, gratitude because everything is as it should be.

I am a Freedom Fighter’s granddaughter,

legacy shifted.

I am a divine message delivered,

healing in a jar.

I am kin to wisdom rooted in feminine energy,

emerging from muddy waters.

I am slowly embracing mortality

like a blue lotus—in morning fullness.
